Headquarters Patrol Bureau

The Headquarters Patrol Bureau strives to improve the quality of life in the areas of North Fair Oaks, Portola Valley and Woodside providing professional law enforcement services, prevention, education, and community policing efforts with a strong community service emphasis. Our main goal is providing a high level of public service and nurture our relationships with community members, schools, business and other community organizations while keeping the community safe.

We have 28 Deputy Sheriff’s, four Sergeants and one Lieutenant serving the South County area. Additionally, we have 2 full-time and 2 part-time Community Service Officers and 2 School Resource Officers assign to respond to the needs of our community 24 hours a day.

The North Fair Oaks Substation, the Community Policing Unit/School Resource Unit and the CARON Program offices are at your service in the South County area
